Corn Dog Castle

     It is not uncommon to hear amongst frequent visitors to the Disneyland Resort debates over which location: Little Red Wagon or Corn Dog Castle, has the best corn dog. While to the outside observer these debates may seem odd given that both locations serve the same frank, hand-dipped in the same batter and fried in the same type of oil, the debate does indeed have merit. At Corn Dog Castle cheddar cheese sticks and fully cooked hot sausages are prepared as well. These items are dipped in the same batter and fried in the same oil. When fried, these items imbue the oil with their aromas and flavors. The oil then imparts those tastes and scents into the light and fluffy corn dog batter, creating a subtle but noticeable difference in flavor.
